about us
Bootle Elim Pentecostal church was established in 1977 from a tent mission off Southport Road,
Bootle by Pastor Alex Tee. The church moved into its present building in December 1997.
The very first meeting was held on Saturday the 13th December 1997. By November 2004
the building had been fully paid for.
Previously the Church had rented a hall at the Welsh Church on Stanley Road, Bootle and in the
early nineties the Church moved to another rented hall at St. Matthews Church of England,
which faces the North Park off Stanley Road in Bootle.
The Bootle Elim Church is a growing Church in the heart of Bootle and is represented by a
wide cross section of people of different ages, different walks of life and many different
nationalities. We as a Church try and work towards our mission statement and aims.
We see ourselves as part of the overall Church thoughout Bootle and throughout the year we have
four joint celebration meetings with Caradoc United Reformed Church, St John and St James Church
of England Church and with Northfield Brethren Church. We also work closely with the other
Churches in Bootle. Within a two mile span there are twenty seven Churches in the Bootle area, which
includes part of Seaforth and Litherland areas.
